May 2026 at Bindplane: Global Pipeline Intelligence and the CLI AI Skill
The Bindplane team is back from Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas, where we announced Global Pipeline Intelligence.
The Google Cloud Next 2026 recap covers booth demos, OpenTelemetry and SecOps, and talks from Craig Lee and Laura Luttmer. Watch the recap.
This month we launched the Bindplane AI Skill so you can run Bindplane CLI workflows from an AI coding agent, brought Pipeline Intelligence to GA, shipped SSO for the Growth plan, and released the Azure Event Hub source with distributed partition ownership, including upstream work in the OpenTelemetry Collector. Watch the Community Call recording.
What shipped
The Bindplane CLI now ships with a built-in skill for AI coding assistants. Install it with bindplane skill install on v1.98+ and refresh it after upgrades with bindplane skill update. The skill gives AI tools like Claude Code accurate, version-matched context for Bindplane commands, so it can configure pipelines, manage collectors, and run Bindplane operations for you. Read the docs.
Pipeline Intelligence is in GA. It is now rolled out for all Bindplane customers. See the details.
New features and integrations
- SSO is now available for Growth: You can now use SSO with the Growth plan in addition to Enterprise.
- Toggle edge animations for a Bindplane Configuration: Significant browser performance increase for customers with huge configs.
- Azure Event Hub source: Added a polling source with distributed partition ownership. Read the docs.

New in the docs
There are new and improved layouts for Feature Guides and How-to Guides. New Pipeline Intelligence feature guides shipped, plus SIEM and compliance how-to guides for migrating Sentinel to SecOps and Splunk to SecOps.
What we're working toward
