Dynatrace to Acquire Bindplane

Today, we’re announcing that Dynatrace has signed an agreement to acquire Bindplane.
The transaction is expected to close later this month, subject to customary closing conditions.
This is an exciting step forward for our team. We’ll keep building, shipping, and supporting our customers and partners the same way we always have.
Why This Makes Sense
The volume of telemetry being generated today is exploding. Logs, metrics, traces, and events are growing faster than most systems can handle, and the cost and complexity that come with that are real.
Bindplane was built to solve this problem at its source: collect, normalize, enrich, reduce, and route data before it ever hits a backend.
Dynatrace has built a leading platform for understanding and acting on that data.
Together, we will bring more control earlier in the data lifecycle and connect it directly to a powerful analytics platform.
What This Means for Customers and Partners
Your existing deployments, integrations, and workflows continue as they are. We remain fully committed to OpenTelemetry, multi-destination routing, and the flexibility that Bindplane provides.
Our partner ecosystem will remain a core part of how we operate. We will continue to support a wide range of integrations and deployment models, with the flexibility partners rely on to operate across environments and destinations.
When we’re part of Dynatrace, we expect to have more resources for product innovation and development, and supporting even larger, more complex environments.
A Quick Personal Note
When we started Bindplane, the goal was simple: give teams control over their telemetry so they can turn it into a real advantage.
What we’ve built with our customers and partners has exceeded my expectations. Thank you for being part of that. This next step is about scaling that impact much further.
We’re excited for what comes next.
